Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Billow: Split Bills & Budget app (the “App”) handles your information. The App is published by Kunal Rakhe (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It applies to the iOS app (bundle ID com.kunalrakhe.split).
The short version: Data Not Collected. There is no account, no ads, no analytics or tracking, and no server. Your data stays on your device and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud.
1. No account or login
You don’t need to create an account or log in to use the App.
2. Your data stays with you
Your groups, expenses, and budgets are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud, they are also stored in your own private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. We do not operate a server, and your data is never sent to us.
3. Sharing
If you share a group, it is shared through iCloud sharing only with the people you invite. We never have access to shared data.
4. Camera, receipt scanning, and Face ID
The camera is used only for receipt scanning. Receipt scanning and Face ID are processed entirely on your device. Receipt images and biometric data are never sent to us.
5. No ads, no analytics, no tracking
The App contains no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. We do not collect, sell, or share your data.
6. Deleting your data
You can delete your data at any time by deleting the App. To remove data stored in iCloud, manage or delete it in your iCloud settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
